God Bless You, Hyde Park Vineyard Church!
Dear Hyde Park Vineyard Church Family,This Sunday will be our family’s last day at the Hyde Park Vineyard Church, and so Angela and I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few words with you as we leave.
These three-plus years at the Hyde Park Vineyard Church have been an amazing journey of faith, hope and love for me as a pastor and also for us as a family. We’ve learned. We’ve grown. We’ve matured. And it was a privilege and an honor to be able to do it together with you. We will be forever grateful for how you’ve been there with us through the highs and the lows, through the laughter and the tears. You celebrated with us as we welcomed our son, Elliot, into this world. You mourned with us as we said farewell to Angela’s mom when she passed away from cancer. You prayed for us. You supported us. You were always there for us. You were our family! And as so often happens in family relationships, it is as you are saying goodbye that you begin to appreciate everyone all the more, and wish that you would have spent more time enjoying each other’s presence. This is true for us today. We will really miss all of you!
We would also like to say a special thanks to Rand and Aimee, who graciously welcomed us into the family. Rand has seen me through the most challenging seasons of my life, ever since college. It was Rand who gave me my first opportunity to be a pastor. And Aimee’s prayer, care, and concern for us made all the difference for our family. Thank you for everything! We love you guys and we will miss you terribly!
You’ve heard it said again and again at our church that God’s mission through the Hyde Park Vineyard Church is to produce world changers, and world-changing churches. These simple words will always stay with me as we embark on a new season of stepping out in faith to heed the voice of God. And our prayer for you, our family at the Hyde Park Vineyard Church, is that you will grow more and more in learning what it means to be world changers, to make Jesus famous in all the earth!
The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)Sincerely,
The Kim Family
