Angela and I were invited to join a few of our new friends to go cut down a Christmas tree. We got to go with the Purifoys, Bairds, and the Suks. Afterwards we grabbed some dinner together. It was a really fun day!

On November 8th, I officially began my duties as the Assistant Pastor of the Hyde Park Vineyard Church. Last Sunday, the 14th, was our last Sunday at the Oak Park Vineyard, the church that Angela and I've been calling home for the past 7 years. Last night, our closest friends gathered for one last evening of worship at the church, then they prayed for us, and sent us out with their blessings! The past couple of weeks has been an emotional one for us. We knew early on in this process that this is the church where God was leading us, but it still didn't make the process of leaving our old church any easier. Any feelings of sadness, however, is quickly overcome by the tremendous excitement that we feel as we embark on this new leg of our journey. It's going to be fun ride!
